Reciprocal Moorage for Visitors to CCYC

Location
Capital City Yacht Club welcomes members of a yacht clubs with reciprocity privileges. We are is located on the south east side of Blue Heron Basin, which is on the west side of Tsehum Harbour, Sidney BC. Moorage is on a first come first serve basis, there is 50 feet of wharfage at the visitor's dock, as well as extra moorage available during the summer when member slips are signed-out and vacant. Beware! There are sticks marking the channel to get to the yacht club. Depths are near 5 feet at low tide. (Note that this is not at zero tide, so depths may be even shallower!)

  • Ice $4.00CDN per bag for either block or cube
  • Walking distance to BC Ferries at Swartz Bay.
  • One block to bus stop with direct service to Sidney and Victoria (#70). A transfer to Butchart Gardens is possible.
  • Customs clearance is available at Van Isle Marina, immediately to port on entering Tsehum Harbour. Contact Customs on VHF 66A.
Fees & Length of Stay
A Facility Fee of $5.00 CDN for each day including the first two days of free moorage, followed a maximum of five days at $0.50 CDN per ft per day (plus the $5.00 CAD Facility Fee) for a maximum of seven days total, twice a year.

Procedures
Upon arrival, tie up at the Red 30 minute dock (no overnight moorage allowed on the red dock), go to the kiosk at the head of the dock to register and stay at the Yellow visitor's dock or one of the available berths on the sign-out sheet. Gate fobs (one per vessel, please) for the gate only will need to be obtained from the reciprocal key box in the kiosk.

VESSELS ARE NOT TO BE LEFT UNATTENDED OVERNIGHT
MAXIMUM SIZE: 50' LOA / 14.5' BEAM
